Pamela Findleton
Pamela Findleton works out of her studio in the Sierra Foothills of California. Through her artwork, she exposes the often over-looked divinity of life's everyday moments. Using a multitude of vibrant, animate colors to express her subject matter, Findleton lures the viewer into a world of surreal fluidity and spirituality. The viewer is issued a challenge: to see and appreciate the undertones and highlights of everyday life. Color and movement are mainstays of her work, as is an intense versatility. Findleton never allows herself to be caged by dogma or genre; instead, she invites curiosity and passion to guide her hand at the easel. This is apparent in the unique breadth of work she has created. Findleton has been featured on the cover of the Wine Times in recognition of her artistic wine label designs, and was the given the Olympian Award by the Pastel Society of the West Coast. Her work is internationally collected.
